About AWS Transit Gateway Service information & pricing
About AWS Transit Gateway
AWS Transit Gateway simplifies the linking of Amazon Virtual Private Clouds and on-premises networks. It acts as a cloud router to manage networks at scale, reducing complexity of increasing connections. With network growth, it provides improved visibility and control of virtual clouds and edge connections. It also increases security with inter-Region peering encryption on AWS's global private network.
AWS Transit Gateway pricing
AWS Transit Gateway bills are based on the connections made per hour and data transferred through it. The charges are applied hourly to Amazon VPCs, AWS VPN, Direct Connect and Transit Gateway Connect attachments owners accounts, and peering attachments. Besides Transit Gateway VPN attachment prices, Site-to-Site VPN connection also incurs a charge. Moreover, data processing fees apply for each gigabyte sent from a VPC, Direct Connect, or VPN to the Transit Gateway.
