AWS Budgets enhances financial planning and cost control by tracking costs and usage via custom budgets. It forecasts spending and resource utilization, enabling users to set actions to avoid overages and inefficient resource use. Users can set budget periods and limits, schedule reports on cost and usage, and create alerts to react automatically to exceeded budget targets.

AWS Budgets pricing

AWS Budgets allows you to set and monitor custom cost and usage budgets free of charge. You can also add actions to your budgets to control permissions and AWS resources. The first two action-enabled budgets are free per month, after which each subsequent action-enabled budget will have a daily cost. In addition, AWS Budgets Reports enable monitoring of budget performance for a cost per report delivered.
